Paolo Nutini is bekend geworden met zijn happy de peppy liedje “New Shoes”, naar hij kan ook werkelijk iets. Met Iron Sky heeft hij een briljant en scherp nummer afgeleverd waarbij onderstaande door Daniel Wolfe geproduceerde fantastische short hoort. Nutini zelf over de song en de bijbehorende film, waarin hij politici probeert aan te sporen naar de werkelijke problemen in de wereld te kijken: “…The more I watch politicians in action, it just makes me angry. I watch certain politicians get asked questions that need answers and may just prance around with a big laugh and smile on my face. Politicians have an arrogance. I just do not understand. I’ve seen more constructive debate since high school…”. Goed, klikken, luisteren en kijken (en ja, in het begin hoor je geen geluid)

Te eentonige muziek, irritante kutstem en pretentieuze, maar inhoudelijk zwakke tekst. Niet mijn definitie van briljant. Clipje vind ik eveneens weinig interessant. Om eerlijk te zijn heb ik het ook maar uitgehouden tot 6 minuten, toen vond ik het wel mooi geweest.
