In zijn kunst worden elementen van architectuur, stedelijk landschap, geometrie, menselijke vormen en verbeelde ruimtes samengevoegd tot abstracte composities die de waarnemer danig op de proef stellen. Hoe objecten in zijn werk worden geplaatst is minder relevant, wat voor hem telt is dat de objecten worden weergegeven.
My work is influenced by my fascination with African masks, the built space and architecture and its ability to shape ones identity. I am interested in the differences in human attitude, relating to the culture of a built environment that they inhabit. I have also observed how structures like architectures, roads and public spaces are named after people, which create an awareness of the person’s good deeds and archive his or her existence.
