Apple offers free iCloud access to embattled Greek citizens
As Greece battles with the Eurozone over the conditions of a bailout deal to save its ailing economy, the question that’s surely on its citizens’ minds right now is “what about my iCloud device backups?” At least, that’s what Apple thinks. The company is offering 30 days worth of free iCloud storage to Greek citizens who aren’t currently able to send payments outside of the country due to capital controls.
